OVERVIEW
Department of gynecology, Qinghai Red Cross Hospital, is a key discipline, and has the strongest force of gynecological technology in Qinghai province. It is created as one of the key section of medicine, scientific research and teaching by Dr. Jian-qin Zhang , a national experts, the local provincial chief experts, director of obstetrics and academic leaders. Our department is at the forefront of the major hospitals on gynecology in Qinghai Province, and has a number of impose advanced medical equipment.
Medical equipment:
The department has advance equipments with 3 sets of domestic advanced laparoscopic equipment, 3 sets of hysteroscopy equipment, cavity inspection endoscopy 6 sets, with multi-function bed for gynecological examinations, instrument of advanced adjuvant therapy for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, self-clotting cutter radiofrequency therapeutic apparatus, etc.

Medical conditions
the department opened a total of 98 beds. We carry out many specialist out-patients, such as general gynecology and gynecologic oncology, gynecologic endoscope, pediatric gynecology, endometriosis, infertility, gynecological endocrine, menopausal disease for health of women.
Gynecological characteristics
The medical standards with clinical treatment of gynecological diseases is Qinghai province's leading health care level in our department, especially unique approach for treatment of critical first-aid and gynecological tumors. In recent years, endoscope surgery was used to the traditional surgery and the medical technique is a leading position in Qinghai province. In this regard, the department provides an active therapy in following items:
Treatment of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery including assisted vaginal hysterectomy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, annex excision,
Ovarian cyst stripping out the surgery, endometriosis lesion ablation, fallopian tube recanalization surgery,
Sacral nerve ablation, pelvic adhesions lyses
Hysteroscopy Under the myomectomy, endometrial resection,
polypectomy, adhesion separation surgery,
Uterine malformation surgery, etc.

The department has a strong interdisciplinary team with more than 40 professional and technical including two chief physician, deputy director of the four physicians, four physician and 2 chief nurses.
Science and education work:
In recent years, we have been developing new technology, new projects, and new scientific research; as results of 12 projects has won prize awarded with scientific research by Qinghai province. 3-4 of the project with "three new" were considerable yearly by Qinghai Public Health Bureau. More than 20 scholarly articles were published in various journals or the annual meeting.
